The Cheburkov Cobra is a design of Alexander Cheburkov. After Shirogorov, he is Russia’s second knife maker and also a master smith. His workshop has been located in the city of Pavlova since 2001. This area is known for centuries as an area where knives and scissors are crafted.
Though modern equipment is used, still a lot of manual labor is involved in making each knife. Hence his knives are often called midtech’s. Alexander gained a reputation for making knives of premium quality. Since 2015 he also receives this recognition in the rest of Europe and the USA.
The Cobra was introduced at IWA 2018 as a prototype. Later that year the design was available for the general consumers. See the video below for my review and a lot of detailed pictures.
